grandma buck buck
For my final project in my design II course this quarter, we were first assigned the challenge of finding an object in our possession that holds true value. After some deliberation, it became obvious to me that I would use a vintage perfume bottle that my grandma gave me. We then wrote a fictional story based on the object and started the process of "iconizing" the bottle. Through the journey I photographed, sketched, and illustrated the bottle to reach the final product of an editorial spread suitable for a magazine. Here is what I have so far!
