One of the first projects I was given at San Francisco magazine was to generate an ad for the iconic restaurant Sinbad's on the Embarcadero. The concept was simple, clean, and modern. Their ad had suffered many long years in our annual publication CityGuide, and was do for a make-over. The humor in this ad comes from the fact that I also had to be the subject for the photos because there weren't enough young people in the restaurant on the day we shot the photos. Not only did I create the ad, I also got to star in it!
